Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and the head of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Representative Steve Israel, spoke to reporters about newly-elected Democratic members of the House. In the 113th Congress the Democratic Caucus comprised a majority of women and minorities, the first time that white males were not the majority.
