Craig Fugate and Charley Shimanski spoke with reporters via conference calls Hurricane Sand relief and recovery. Mr. Fugate said an additional 42,000 people were without power after the nor’easter storm moved through the area the previous night, which brought the power outage total to over 700,000. They also said Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and Red Cross assistance shelters were reopening, and manufactured housing would be moved into the affected areas.
