Former director of the Office of Management and Budget Jim Nussle examined how the national debate on the size and cost of government would affect agencies priorities for years to come. As federal agencies face the prospect of tumbling over the “fiscal cliff,” he talked about how the process would work, what Congress and the administration would be likely to do, and what federal managers needed to prepare for in the rest of 2012 and into 2013. Mr. Nussle was interviewed by Tom Shoop and responded to questions from members of the audience.
