Jon Leibowitz made opening remarks at a Federal Trade Commission (FTC) conference on robocalls. He said “nothing is off the table” when it comes to his agency’s efforts to stop illegal robocalls, and that more than a dozen enforcement actions had been taken since he arrived at the FTC, with billions of illegal calls stopped. Following Mr. Leibowitz, industry representatives talked about the history of telephone communications and robocalls.
