Henry De Sio, chief operating officer for President Obama’a 2008 presidential campaign and former deputy assistant to President Obama in the White House, spoke at California State University, Northridge. He talked about his experience working the Obama campaign in 2008 and stories that he had from the campaign trail. He talked about the primary battles against Hilary Clinton, vice presidential candidates, criticisms of Obama during the campaign, and turning points in the campaign. He also analyzed leadership, communication, and the use of words in presidential campaigns. Mr. de Sio answered questions from audience members in the University Student Union.
