Witnesses testified on a report on weather satellite programs Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS) and Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite - R Series (GOES-R). They said the programs were being managed better than in the past, but challenges meeting launch deadlines for the satellites remained.
