Witnesses testified on the 2012 NATO summit in Chicago and the future agenda of NATO. Among the topics they addressed were diminishing defense funding for NATO by European countries, missile defense, NATO partnerships, new country membership, as well as the transition in Afghanistan and the proposed U.S. reduction of combat brigades Stationed in Europe. They also touched on relations between NATO and Russia.
