Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) talked about a recent letter 17 senators sent to Defense Secretary Panetta calling for an end to the U.S. government’s relationship with the Russian state-controlled arms exporter currently supplying arms to Bashar al-Assad in Syria in addition to the government of Iran. He was joined by Democrat and Majority Whip Dick Durbin, who supported the request.
