Libyan Prime Minister Abdel-Rahim El Keib talked about his country’s political transition and the future of U.S.-Libya relations. In his remarks he said many challenges lie ahead in the transition to democracy but added that Libyans remain determined to turn the tide of history. He also said that democracy is not a concept but a system that has to be built up piece by piece and will take time. Following his speech, he answered questions from the audience. close
