Elizabeth Cheney and former Representative Jane Harman (D-CA) talked about the Iranian nuclear threat to Israel and political unrest in Syria. In addition, they debated President Obama’s policy in the region. Ms. Cheney said that no other president had done more to “delegitimize and destabilize” Israel, and Ms. Harman said that Israel should not be used as a “political football.” This panel was a part of 2012 annual policy conference of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. close
