Senator James Inhofe (R-OK) talked about his new book, The Greatest Hoax: How the Global Warming Conspiracy Threatens Your Future, and he responded to telephone calls and electronic communications. He discussed the 2012 presidential election, the Keystone XL oil pipeline, and other campaign issues. In his comments he refuted President Obama’s previous day speech in New Hampshire in which he said high oil prices are caused by instability in the Middle East rather than the amount of oil production in the U.S., saying that the president has “spent three, four years now doing everything he can to attack fossil fuels.”
Senator Inhofe is the ranking member of the Environment and Public Works Committee.
