Karl Marlantes talked about his autobiographical narrative, What It Is Like To Go To War. In the book he related many of his own combat experiences, including one intense battle in Vietnam that ultimately won him the Navy Cross, the highest citation awarded by the Department of the Navy. He responded to questions from members of the audience.
