Customers affected by the financial firm MF Global’s bankruptcy testified at a Senate hearing. Roger Hupfer, a grain elevator operator from Freeland Michigan said regulators clearly failed the consumers they were supposed to protect. He added that after investigations are complete, he and other customers are expecting their misused funds back. Dean Tofteland, a farmer from Minnesota said someone knew where the missing money was and after investigations are complete he wanted those responsible to be held criminally accountable.
