Alan Simpson and Erskine Bowles talked about the work on the congressional Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction. Both urged the committee to "go big and bold" in a recommended solution to the debt and deficit crisis, but were skeptical this would happen as the deadline of November 23 neared.
