Republican 2012 presidential candidate Herman Cain talked about his 9-9-9 tax plan, which calls for a 9 percent business tax, a 9 percent personal income tax, and a 9 percent national sales tax. He also said that in the coming weeks his campaign will announce an energy independence strategy. Afterward, Mr. Cain answered questions from the audience.
During the event Mr. Cain when asked to comment on allegations he sexually harassed two female staff during his tenure as president of the National Restaurant Association said he would stick to the ground rules set by the American Enterprise Institute to answer tax questions only.
