House Speaker John Boehner laid out recommendations for job creation. He argued that Congress should limit regulations he believed were killing jobs, make changes to the tax code, and cut spending. He also criticized President Obama’s plan but agreed some of it offers opportunities for common ground between Republicans and Democrats. He urged colleagues to put politics aside to get the nation back on sound economic footing. He also responded to questions from the audience.
