The Congressional Black Caucus held a town hall meeting in Atlanta focusing on job creation efforts and improving the economy. Among the topics they addressed were public and private cooperation to create jobs, federal spending programs, recent debate on the federal debt and deficit reduction, as well as programs designed to benefit African Americans. This event was part of the Congressional Black Caucus' “For the People” jobs initiative that included nationwide jobs fairs, workshops and town hall meetings.
