Pilots and aviation officials talked about passenger plane safety. Topics included overall an assessment of aviation security assessment, intelligence sharing, cargo screening, and security improvements since September 11 2001. They also provided their analysis and updates on new airport security programs such as the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) risk-based security program, “known traveler program,” and TSA’s secure flight program. Following their discussion they answered audience member questions.
