Victor Pickard, co-editor of Will the Last Reporter Please Turn Out the Lights: The Collapse of Journalism and What Can Be Done to Fix It, talked about the problems facing the news industry and discussed what can be done to preserve it. He was then joined by a panel of the book's contributors to talk about their portions. Tom Glaisyer moderated. The panelists also responded to questions from members of the audience at this book launch event held by the New America Foundation.
