Officials talked about border security initiatives and historical patterns in threats to border security. In his remarks Alan Bersin said that the U.S. was moving toward “satisfactory control of the border,” and that the declining number of apprehensions of illegal migrants along the U.S.-Mexico border indicated the growing success of U.S. security initiatives. They also responded to questions from the audience. close
