Archivist of the United States David Ferriero showed some of his favorite documents from the holdings of the National Archives. They showed the range and depth of the national holdings, since before the Revolutionary War. Some documents related to his special interests, such as the USS Constitution, and others were of personal interest to him, such as letters he had written to presidents as a child. He also talked about the work of the archivist and his own career.
