Speaker of the House Boehner (R-OH) and former Speakers Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Dennis Hastert (R-IL) discussed their respective times in the position, how the position has changed through the years, and examples of times they have been able to find beneficial compromise. The conversation focused on the legacy of Speaker Clay and the role of speaker of the house, but included comments on issues such as education, the economy, the debt limit, and Medicare.
