Whistleblowers and family members of a border patrol agent killed in 2010 appeared at a hearing on a government sting operation aimed at gun smugglers known as “Operation Fast and Furious.” The witnesses said that weapons supplied by the government to gun smugglers as part of the operation ended up in the possession of Mexican drug cartels.
