Presidential Candidate Newt Gingrich said that as president he would move the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem and suspend U.S. funding of the United Nations if the organization recognized a Hamas-led Palestinian state. The former House Speaker also said that the Obama administration was not effectively dealing with Iran’s pursuit of nuclear weapons. This was Mr. Gingrich’s first speech since the senior members of his campaign resigned. close
