President Obama spoke at the dedication of a United Nations building in honor the late Ronald Brown. In his remarks he spoke about the legacy of Ronald Brown, the work of the United Nations, and conflict in Libya. He was joined by Former President Bill Clinton.

Mr. Brown was the former Secretary of Commerce for President Clinton as well as the chairman of the Democratic National Committee from 1989 to 1992. In 1996, he was killed in a plane crash in Croatia while on a trade mission. close
