Former Ambassador Donald Gregg spoke about U.S. national security policy and his experiences advising the president. He compared the challenges faced by the Kennedy administration to those facing the Obama administration and he spoke about a wide variety of issues including the inside story of the decisions to bomb Vietnam, the future of Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan, the torture of the American hostages in Iran, the effects of WikiLeaks, and his relationship with civilian and military leaders.

This event was sponsored by the Program in Leadership Studies, the Stanley Kaplan Program in American Foreign Policy, and the International Studies Program at Williams College. It was held in Brooks-Rogers Recital Hall in the Bernhard Music Center on the Williams College Campus. close
