Martha Raddatz discussed the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan on political, strategic, and personal levels. She talked about her desire to tell stories of the soldiers serving there. Several of her news reports for ABC were shown, including one in which she trained and flew in a fighter jet with American military personnel. She also discussed her involvement in remind.org, a program of the Woodruff Foundation to benefit injured soldiers. The foundation was started by Bob Woodruff, her ABC News colleague who was gravely injured in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) explosion in 2004. close
