Mark David Hall explored the meanings of the relationship between church and state issues based on his assessment of founding-era documents. Topics included the various meanings given to "Christian founding," the question of whether or not America was founded upon Christian principles, and the extent to which the founders were Christians themselves. He responded to questions from members of the audience.
