Columnist David Brooks made introductory remarks at the No Labels national leadership meeting. He spoke about the problems of partisanship in Congress and conformity with politics. Following Mr. Brooks, Michael Smerconish moderated a discussion with current and former members of Congress and other government officials on the need for congressional compromise and bipartisan legislation.
