Vice President Joe Biden presided at the annual wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns. Following the ceremony, dignitaries and officials spoke in the Arlington National Cemetery Amphitheater about the mission of the Legion of Valor and the operation of the Department of Veterans affairs. Vice President Biden then spoke about the sacrifices made by several generations of veterans, and called on the nation to vigoriously support veterans causes as a “sacred obligation.”
