Bethany McLean is the author of the Smartest Guys in the Room: The Amazing Rise and Scandalous Fall of Enron. She was one of the first to expose the Enron scandal while working for Fortune magazine. She is currently a contributing editor to Vanity Fair and will soon be writing for Slate.
