Following opening remarks by Rocky Collis and Aaron Cooper of the Georgetown Law Journal, law professor and former clerks of Justice John Paul Stevens talked about his views and jurisprudence as a justice. Topics included the influence of his jurisprudence on other justices, and his views on such issues as affirmative action, abortion, criminal law, and military commission trials. Following prepared remarks, they responded to audience members' questions.
