The contributors were of varied race, class, and geographic origin and described a myriad of events that range from the 1963 March on Washington to the Mississippi Freedom Summer. Jennifer Lawson, also a former member of SNCC, moderated. The panel discussion was hosted by Busboys & Poets in Washington, D.C.
