Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA) and Governor Haley Barbour (R-MS) spoke at the National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Offshore Drilling’s third series of meetings. Both laid out the unique challenges their states faces both before and after the oil spill. Senator Landrieu focused much of her talk on the need for coastal restoration to the Louisiana gulf coast.
