Scott Rasmussen talked from Asbury Park, New Jersey, about the book he co-authored with Doug Schoen, Mad as Hell: How the Tea Party Movement is Fundamentally Remaking Our Two Party System. The book takes a look at how the tea party is a populist uprising which tends to happen in times of economic hardship and uncertainty. He reacted to a video clip from September 23, 2010, of Tea Party Express Chair Amy Kremer talking about her involvement. He also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.
