Thad Allen talked about permanently capping BP’s oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico as well as clean up and restoration efforts. The Obama administration reported the previous day that the majority of the oil spill has evaporated or been burned, skimmed, or recovered from the wellhead. Admiral Allen also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.
