President Obama spoke about campaign spending legislation being debated in the Senate, and already passed by the House. The bill, called the DISCLOSE Act, was crafted in response to a Supreme Court ruling which said corporations have the right to spend unlimited amounts of money on political campaigns. In his remarks, President Obama said failure to pass the bill would guarantee millions in corporate spending during the upcoming midterm elections. close
