A panel discussion was held on the changes made to access to information by a market-driven digital technology. They discussed the thesis that wider visual representation would lead younger readers into literacy and the definition of literacy in a visual and technological age. They focused on the place of comics and graphic novels in the digital realm. The panelists also responded to questions from members of the audience.
