Members of the House and Senate Western Caucuses held a hearing on the impact of the Obama administration’s economic policies on jobs in the Western U.S. Among the topics they addressed were high levels of unemployment in the Western U.S., the impact of energy policies on Western economies, resource management plans, and demographic shifts in the region. They also played videotaped testimony from several businessmen, workers and ranchers.
