Rear Admiral Connie Mariano (Retired), met with former colleagues and friends to celebrate the launch of her book, The White House Doctor: My Patients Were Presidents - A Memoir. In the book, Dr. Mariano recalls her tenure as the White House physician from 1992 to 2001 and her service as the first female director of the White House Medical Unit starting in 1994. The book party took place at the Old Ebbitt Grill in Washington, D.C.
