Administrative Conference of the United States
The Administrative Conference of the United States (ACUS) is an independent federal agency and advisory committee chartered for the purpose of ensuring the fair and efficient administration of various federal agencies. The ACUS studies administrative processes and recommends improvements in the procedures by administrative agencies. ACUS does not have the power to make its recommendations law or to enforce them once they are enacted.
