Former Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin and Former President Clinton talked about reducing the federal deficit at the 2010 Fiscal Summit held at the Peter G. Peterson Foundation. In his remarks on immigration and financial reform, President Clinton said that the United States has become an “older society” and called for policy makers to help the U.S. become a “tomorrow nation,” with newcomers providing the labor force and paying the taxes necessary to finance the retiring generation. close
