The Senate Agriculture Committee met to mark up legislation to regulate the $450 trillion dollar derivatives market. The measure passed with only Iowa Republican Charles Grassley voting for it. The bill is expected to be merged with a larger financial overhaul measure proposed by Finance Committee Chairman Christopher Dodd before coming to the Senate floor. close
