David Remnick talked about his book The Bridge: The Life and Rise of Barack Obama (Knopf; April 6, 2010). In his book, which was previously presented in a distilled format as a magazine profile, he used letters and interviews to tell the life story of the 44th president and to trace his political journey to the White House. Mr. Remnick was interviewed on stage by Michele Norris. He also responded to questions from members of the audience.
