Michael Lewis talked about his book The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine (W.W. Norton & Company; March 15, 2010). In the book he tells the story of several key players in the subprime mortgage crisis who understood what was happening to the market and were able to make huge amounts of money in the transactions.

Michael Lewis' previous books include: Liar's Poker, The New New Thing, and Moneyball. He is also the author of The Blind Side which was the basis of a 2009 movie for which Sandra Bullock won an Academy Award for best actress. He is also a contributing editor at Vanity Fair.
