David Savage talked about Chief Justice Roberts University of Alabama Law School speech, and he responded to telephone calls and electronic communications. In the speech the chief justice criticized President Obama’s State of the Union Address, calling the President’s comments on the campaign finance case “troubling” and the event “a political pep rally.” Mr. Savage talked about reaction to the speech, the Roberts court, and the separation of powers.
