Rajiv Shah testified about the fiscal year 2011 budget for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Among the topics addressed during the hearing were aid efforts in Haiti, Iraq and Afghanistan reconstruction, anti-tuberculosis efforts, Somalia, autism in Africa, and international aid provided by faith-based organizations.
