Witnesses testified on the condition of small business and commercial real estate lending in local markets. The Obama Administration proposed transferring $30 billion dollars from the Troubled Asset Relief Program into a new federal fund to support lending for small business, known as the Small Business Lending Fund (SBLF). The third, and final, panel of banking executives talked about how their institutions viewed the proposals.
