Lisa Jackson testified on the Environmental Protection Agency’s fiscal year 2011 budget. President Obama’s $10 billion budget request for EPA would cut the agency’s total funding by about $300 million from 2010 levels while allotting $56 million for regulatory programs to curb greenhouse gas emissions. In her testimony Ms. Jackson defended climate change science while Republican senators, such as Senator James Inhofe, criticized a report by an international climate change panel that made major errors and was driven by politics. close
