The Reverend Sally Bingham talked about her book Love God, Heal Earth: 21 Leading Religious Voices Speak Out on Our Sacred Duty to Protect the Environment (St. Lynn's Press; February 1, 2009). It is a compilation of essays, by members of clergy from all religions, on the need to conserve the earth's resources. She spoke about the need for people of faith to work to save the planet. She responded to questions from members of the audience.

The Reverend Sally Bingham is the founder and president of the Interfaith Power and Light Campaign (IPL). The IPL involves more than 4000 congregations, mosques, and temples in a religious response to global climate change. She was the keynote speaker at this two-day conference, "Climate Change and Faith," sponsored by Colorado Interfaith Power and Light at the Spirit of Christ Catholic Community in Arvada, Colorado.
